You may want to modify the email address you configured when you installed WordPress, or you may simply no longer use that account and therefore wish to change it.
In this guide, we show the steps to follow to change the email associated with the General settings of your WordPress.
First of all, you need to access your WordPress admin panel.
Next, go to the section and click on General as shown in the image below:

From here, you can access all the general configuration of your WordPress. Among the available options, you can change the WordPress administration email address, which we have highlighted in the image.
You only need to delete the current email address and enter the new one you want to assign. Once done, scroll to the bottom and click “Save Changes”.
If the email address change has been made correctly, it will now appear as a pending email change:

Finally, the new email address will receive a message containing a link to confirm the change. The email you receive will look like this:

Once you click the link, you will be redirected back to the same section of the admin panel, but with the email address already updated.
