If you have funds in your Balance or you have the card payment system enabled, you can activate automatic renewal. With this renewal method, domains will be automatically renewed fourteen days before the expiration date.
To activate automatic renewal, you must access "Renewals" in your control panel. You can also activate automatic renewal by clicking on "Activate now", but this applies it massively, not for a specific domain:
On the "Renewal center" screen, click on the "Automatic renewal" button to activate it.
When activating this option, a screen will appear where you can choose the payment method for automatic domain renewal.
How to activate automatic renewal by card
If you select card, and you already have a card enabled in the system, this option will automatically be activated for the selected domain.
If you have not previously enabled a card, the system will inform you and provide instructions to do so.
If you click on the save a card option, you will access the "Payment control" screen where you can add a card by clicking on the New saved card option.
To continue with the process, you must confirm the card registration by reading and accepting the data storage conditions.
Finally, the screen to add the card will appear:
Once the card has been added, go back to the first step and activate automatic renewal using the card payment method.
How to activate automatic renewal with Balance
On the other hand, if you select Balance as the payment method and you already have it enabled, the domain will automatically be linked to renewal via balance.
When automatic renewal is enabled, the "automatic renewal" icon will appear highlighted in green in the "list of registered domains" menu.
If you do not have balance enabled, the system will redirect you to the option to add balance to your account. Click on add balance to your account.
On the "Balance" screen, click on Add balance.
You can also add balance without trying to activate automatic renewal. To do so, go to "Billing" and "Payment control":
Then go to the "Balance" section and access "Add balance":
A window will open requesting the amount of balance you want to add. It is important that this amount is in Euros€.
After clicking "Accept", another notification will appear indicating that the balance has been added to the cart, so you only need to go to the cart and proceed with the payment. Just click on "Accept" again:
Once you have added the balance, go back to the first step and activate automatic renewal via balance.
Our system processes daily the domains that have the Automatic Renewal enabled option, and when they have less than 14 days before expiration, it proceeds to renew them.
If for any reason you do not have enough funds in your Balance to pay for the renewal, you will receive a message at your contact address informing you that the renewal could not be completed so that you can add funds to your Balance as soon as possible.
