How to access the Antimalware tool log

How to access the Antimalware tool log

The cdmon hosting plans include a suspicious elements (malware) scanner that is permanently active and performs checks on the web file code.

Malware can be generated by using outdated software (plugins, themes, hosting PHP version) or by using insecure applications.

From the control panel, you can view the Malware detection log and see which code has been detected and which file is infected.

IMPORTANT: This tool is internal and under continuous development. This means that some injection patterns may not yet be stored in the system and therefore may not be detected.

To access the Antimalware tool logs, go to the management section of the hosting you want to analyze.

Next, go to the “Security” section and access “Antimalware”:

If the tool has never detected any suspicious files, the log will indicate that no errors have been detected:

If, on the other hand, files have been detected, you will be able to see the tool’s log showing the detected pattern and the path of the infected file:

The tool can detect the infection, as shown in the example image, but it may quarantine a file instead of deleting it directly so it can be reviewed.

Note: This log displays the complete historical record of this hosting account, meaning it stores all detections that have occurred so you can review them in full.
