Access to the Testing Platform is done in the same way as access to any hosting service, through the "Basic list of services" or from the "Hosted plans list" in the cdmon Control Panel.
Access from the Basic list of services
Access from the Hosted plans list
Once you access the management of the Testing Platform, you will see a grey rectangle in the header of the page. In this rectangle you can see the button to publish the platform (purchase the hosting) and the access details for the page while it is not public for everyone.
If you cannot configure the domain to access the website of the testing platform, you can use the mialias.net domain. To do so, enter example.org.mialias.net in the browser bar (example.org is the name of your domain associated with the hosting).
User and password login
When accessing the address (URL), a validation window will appear where you must enter the details shown in the grey rectangle in the Testing Platform management. If you do not enter the data, the website will not be displayed.
If you have installed a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla or Prestashop on the Testing Platform, you must take into account that this pop-up window is not where you should enter the CMS management access credentials. In this window you must enter the credentials shown in the grey box mentioned above.
Once the credentials have been entered, you will be able to view the page like a normal website.
The Testing Platform is the same as any other cdmon hosting but completely free until it is published.
You can configure all the options available in the hosting management panel, except those in grey, which are not active in the Testing Platform:
As this is a testing hosting environment, these features cannot be modified until the website is published.
To publish the Testing Platform, click the Publish button in the grey rectangle and select the type of hosting that best suits your project needs from the available offers. The platform will automatically become a public hosting service.
Just as the Testing Platform features cannot be modified, email accounts cannot be activated either. They can be created and configured but will appear inactive until the website is published. Once you purchase a hosting plan, the accounts will automatically appear active.
