How to clone the configuration of a domain in static DNS

The Domain Clone tool is very useful if you need to create domains with the same records, as it allows you to copy the same configuration. To perform the cloning, follow these steps:
 
1.-Access DNS management
 
To access DNS management, click on Free DNS.


Then, click on the Static DNS option.


2.-Clone configuration
 
Once you have accessed "Static DNS", in the DNS list, locate the domain you want to clone. In the "Actions" section, open the Options dropdown and click on Copy zone.
 
 
3.-Specify the domain to clone
 
When you click on Copy zone, the following window will appear. Here you can choose between copying the DNS to an existing domain by selecting it in the Select domain dropdown, or copying the DNS zone to a new domain by entering it in the field Or copy the zone to a new domain.
 
The new domain will not be linked to the original one; only the data is copied, and from that moment on it will be configured independently.


4.-Propagation
 
The record has now been cloned. You only need to wait for the changes to propagate, which may take approximately five minutes.
