IMPORTANT:For security reasons, port 25 has been disabled for sending emails. If your email client is configured with this port, you will need to update it to continue sending emails. Recommended new configuration:
How to change the SMTP port in Gmail
Go to Settings > See all settings
Access Accounts and Import
In “Send mail as”, edit the account
Configure:
SMTP server:smtp.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your hosting/domain name)
Port: 587
Secure connection: TLS
Save the changes
If you have a cdmon account, you can configure it with Gmail in four steps.
In this case, we use the account “info@example.org” as an example. This address must be replaced with the name of the email account you want to configure.
