How to create aliases and redirects in an email account

How to create aliases in an email account

The email alias allows you to create alternative email receiving accounts associated with the main account. Even if you only have one configured email account (demo@example.org), you can have other destination accounts (alias1@example.org, alias2@example.org, etc.) whose email is delivered to the main account.

On the other hand, the redirects allow email received in a cdmon account to also be received in one or more internal or external accounts to the domain, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.

In this tutorial we explain the process for creating both aliases and redirects.

1. Hosting email management

Access the Account management section from the "basic service list".

2. Email account configuration

Click the Redirects link of the email account you want to manage.

You will access the following configuration panel.

3. Add alias

Click on the Create alias link, and within this section add the alias you want to create, choose the destination account and click the Create alias button.
