The Multihost service allows us to create different hostings within the same product. To create them, access your Multihost from the Control Panel. Once inside, click the "+ Add hosting" button.
You will access a form that allows you to create the web hosting by distributing the available resources.
Create hosting - In this section the data of the new hosting is assigned
Domain name: Name of the domain that we want to host on the virtual server.
Web space: Disk space of the web hosting that we are going to create.
Mail space: Disk space assigned for the email accounts created in the hosting.
FTP accounts: Number of FTP accounts that the web hosting will have available.
Do you want email service for this hosting?: Activate this option only if you want to use the cdmon email service.
Email accounts: This appears when the previous option is activated and requires creating at least one email account.
Enable Antivirus/Antispam: Antivirus/antispam filter for email accounts.
MySQL / PostgreSQL databases: Number of databases that the web hosting will have available.
Cronjobs: Number of cron jobs available for the web hosting.
Mailman lists: Number of Mailman mailing lists available for the hosting.
Mailman users: Number of Mailman users available for the hosting.
Auto-configure DNS: Option that configures the DNS on cdmon.com for the domain hosted on the virtual server.
Once everything is assigned, you must click on "Configure connection data"
Connection data of the new hosting - The username and password for the different services will be automatically generated, but you can modify them as desired.
Connection data for the White Label Gestiona panel: Connection data for the control panel of the domain’s web hosting. This control panel is white label and can be accessed through the address
www.hosteddomain.com/pcontrol. Connection data for statistics: Connection data for the hosting statistics. They can be accessed through the address
www.hosteddomain.com/stats.
You will always be able to view and modify these access details. When you want to continue with the activation, you must click on "Confirm data".
Finally, in this last window we can review the assigned data. If the provided information is correct, we will proceed to complete the creation of the web hosting on our virtual server.
A window like the following will appear to confirm the hosting creation. From here you can download a CSV with the connection data (only usernames will be shown; for security reasons passwords will not be displayed).
You will also receive an email at the contact email of the cdmon user with a copy of all the data of the created web hosting.
