How to download an email in .eml format in SOGo
From the SOGo web interface, you can download your emails in .eml format, ideal for saving them as a backup copy, forwarding them, or importing them into other email clients such as Outlook or Thunderbird. This process can be done individually or in bulk. Below, we explain both options:
First of all, access your SOGo account from the browser by entering your username and password.
Download a single message in .eml format
In the inbox, open the message you want to download. Then click on the three vertical dots icon located in the upper-right corner.
Select the Download message option.
The email will be downloaded to your computer in .eml format.
Download multiple messages at once
- In the inbox, select the messages you want to download by checking the boxes. You need to click on the left side of each message so the "checkmark" appears.
- Click on the three dots menu that appears in the top bar.
- Click on Save as... to download the selected emails.
