At cdmon, you can edit your email account in different email clients. In this guide, we will explain how to do it in MAIL for MAC OS.

In this case, we use the account “example@bendiciones247.com” as an example. This address must be replaced with the name of the email account you want to configure.

1.-Previous account configuration

Start MAIL from its icon in the Dock or by going to "Finder", "Applications" and "Mail" to access the Mac Mail application.

Once inside, go to the upper-left corner, to the "Mail" section, and click "Preferences" as shown below:

A window will open with all the details of the accounts added to that Mac Mail. Select the account you want to edit so its details are displayed:

Go to Account Information and fill in the fields with the corresponding information:

Email address / Username: example@bendiciones247.com

Incoming mail server: imap.yourdomain.com

Outgoing mail server: smtp.yourdomain.com

In the outgoing SMTP mail server section, click the drop-down list of available servers and click "Edit SMTP Server List..." as shown in the screenshot:

If none has been added, click "+" and assign the server "smtp.yourdomain.com", where "yourdomain.com" must be replaced with the domain name of the account you are configuring. Go to "Advanced", check the option "Automatically detect and maintain account settings" and assign port 465 with SSL. Authentication must be set to "Password", and in the username field, enter the email account again.

Click "OK" when you have finished.

To finish, go to the "Advanced" section and make sure the option "Automatically detect and maintain account settings" is checked and that the assigned port is 993 with SSL if the account is configured as IMAP. If it is configured as POP3, it must be 995.

After saving the details, the account will be configured in Mac Mail.

In some versions of Mac Mail, the "Advanced" window may not appear; instead, "Server Settings" appears. The interface looks like this:
