If you want only the users you choose to access a folder in your hosting account, you can protect it with a username and password.
In the cdmon Control Panel you can activate this protection. To do so, access the hosting management and in the 'Security' section click on the option File and folder permissions.
Once inside, click on the padlock icon to protect the folder you want.
Inside, you will see the users created to protect folders. If no user exists, click on Create user to create one.
In the next window, you must enter the username and password with which you want to protect the folder, and click on Create user.
Next, you will notice that the user you created is in "Disabled" status. Click on the key icon in the "Actions" section to activate it and protect the folder.
If you have created more users, you can select them all by checking the checkbox on the left and activate them from the "Actions" dropdown menu.
Once you click the key icon, you will see that the user's status has changed to Enabled. This way, the folder is protected with the selected user.
