In this tutorial, we detail how to create the mail records in WIX in order to use the email accounts of cdmon. This modification will only be made if the DNS servers of the domain point to WIX.
 
1.-Check cdmon records

We access the cdmon Control Panel with our username and password and select the "Manage DNS" section of the specific domain.
 
 
Here we can check the DNS records of the domain. Of all those that appear we must create in WIX the following:
  • mail
  • webmail
  • imap
  • mail
  • pop3
  • smtp
  • webmail
  • and the MX record of the domain
 
 
2.-Configure records in WIX
 
Once in the WIX panel, we access "Domains".


We select the Show more icon of the domain to modify and must click on "Manage DNS records"
 
 
Now we can modify or create DNS records. We select "Add a new A record ".
 
 
In the DNS records we specify 3 fields. The first is "Host name", where we enter the value from the subdomain section that appears in the cdmon Control Panel; in the second section, "Points to IP address" we specify the IP that appears in the cdmon Control Panel; and the last section, "Time to Live (TTL)", we leave it at 1 hour. We repeat this process with all the mail records that are in the Control Panel.
 
 
Once all A-type records have been added, we select the option "Done" to save the changes. 
 
To add the MX mail record, we must access the same Show More icon and click on "Edit MX records". 
 
 
You must click on the Points to field and add the following MX record but with your domain name:  mail.yourdomainname.com 
 

Finally, click 'OK' to save the configuration made.
