To create email forwarding in the static DNS from your control panel, it is essential that you have the domain registered with cdmon. There are two possible ways to access the email forwarding configuration from the basic services list: through the "DOMAIN" option or through the "DNS" option. Below, we will explain each of them.
Access through the DOMAIN option
From the basic services list in your control panel, you must access the domain management by clicking on the DOMAIN option.
On the domain management screen, in the "Forwarding" section, you must click on Email forwarding.
Access through the DNS option
From the basic services list in the control panel, you must access the "DNS Records" management by clicking on the DNS option.
On the DNS records management screen, you must click on the More options dropdown, where you need to select Manage email forwarding.
Add forwarding
Whether you accessed from the "DOMAIN" option or from the "DNS" option in the basic services list, you will reach the "Email forwarding" screen, where you can add a forwarding by clicking on Add forwarding.
Once you click on Add forwarding, you will access the following screen, where you can create the forwarding by specifying the source address and the destination address.
Source address: specify the email account of your domain from which emails will be forwarded. You can create as many forwardings as you want.
You can use an asterisk (*) if you want any email received in any account under your domain to be forwarded to another address. This is known as Catch All.
Destination address: specify the external email account, for example name@gmail.com, name@yahoo.com.
Propagation
Your email forwarding has now been created. Now you just need to wait for the changes to propagate, which may take approximately five minutes.
