Server aliases (ServerAlias) are alternative names for a hosting account. They allow you to add more than one domain to your hosting and display the same content as the main hosting. They are useful for configuring multiple domains/subdomains within the same hosting account.
To add an alias to your web hosting, in the cdmon control panel, access the hosting management and in the 'Domains' section click on the option Hosting aliases

1.- Create an alias
Click on Add hosting alias.

Enter the domain name you want to add as an alias and then click on Add alias.

The created aliases appear in the list, from where you can edit or delete them:

2.- Advanced information
- Creating an alias implies the creation of a DNS record; this process is carried out automatically.
- If the domain uses cdmon DNS, you only need to wait for DNS propagation, which may take about 5 minutes. If, on the other hand, the domain’s DNS is managed outside of cdmon, you must configure the DNS record with the IP assigned to our hosting. You can find the IP on the same screen.
- Please note that aliases are only valid for the web server: they do not apply to email or FTP services.
