How to turn off automatic WordPress update emails

With the Manage Notification E-mails plugin, you can manage the notifications you receive from your WordPress site. Among other options, you can disable automatic update emails for the plugins and themes you have installed.

 

First, access your WordPress website and go to the administration panel of your site. Once you have logged in, you will see a menu on the left side of the screen.

 

Go to the "Add New" section and install the Manage Notification E-mails plugin:

 

 

To access the plugin settings, go to the “Settings” section of your WordPress dashboard and click on “Notification e-mails”:

 

 

You will likely see the full email notification management panel. From here, you can manage all email notifications generated by WordPress itself (new user account notifications, password change notifications, new post creation alerts, among many others).

 

You can enable or disable whether each of these notifications should be active. Among the settings you can edit are the “WordPress automatic theme update email” and the “WordPress automatic plugin update email,” which are shown below:

 

 

Once you have followed these steps, you will no longer receive automatic WordPress update emails.
