The hardware graphs allow you to visualize the status of your Virtual Up server. To access them, go to the Virtual Server management section from your cdmon control panel and click on the Hardware graphs option.
In the "Hardware graphs" section, you can view the following areas:
At the top of the graphs, you can select whether you want to view daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly usage.
CPU consumption graphs by hosting
This graph shows a list of the ten hostings that consume the most CPU. The horizontal axis shows the CPU usage of each hosting by time slot, while the vertical axis shows CPU usage in %. In this example, the server has 4 CPU cores, equivalent to 400 on the vertical axis.
System graphs
In this section, you can view the graphs for "CPU usage", "CPU load" and "Memory usage".
CPU usage: Represents the % of CPU usage. 100% represents the total number of cores the server has, i.e., its full CPU capacity.
- system: % used by the system.
- user: % used by system users.
- nice: % of low-priority user processes.
- idle: % “free” or unused CPU.
- iowait: % of CPU waiting time for the hard disk.
- steal time: % of time a virtual CPU waits for its processing time on the physical CPU. On managed dedicated servers, this time does not apply since all CPUs are physical.
- softirq: % of interruptions when handling “batches” in the CPU.
Load average: average CPU load time.
Memory usage: Shows how memory is being used.
Web service graphs
Section where you can view graphs related to the Apache service, such as accesses or requests, processes, and load volume.
Apache accesses: shows the web accesses the server has had at the time of data capture.
Apache processes: number of Apache processes running on the server. They are divided between processes that are already running and those that are ready to start but are waiting for a connection request.
Apache Volume: traffic through port 80 at the time of data capture.
Disk graphs
Filesystem usage: % of disk space used in each partition. “Total space” is the total disk space, and “Used space” is the amount of space currently in use.
Mail service graphs
Number of emails in the postfix queue: graph that monitors the postfix mail queue.
