Modify the features of a Virtual Server Hosting

Virtual Servers offer many advantages, such as being able to customize the hosting features according to the server configuration contracted.
 
To modify a hosting within the virtual server, you must access the server management section:
 
 
Once on the "Manage Virtual Server" screen, click on the Edit details option. This will take you to a form where you can modify the web hosting by distributing the available resources.
 
 
Modify features - Once here, a form will appear allowing you to edit the features of the selected hosting:
 
 
  • Plan type: You can select any of our Hosting plans, and its features will be automatically applied. It’s a template with predefined characteristics.
 
 
  • Web space: Disk space allocated for the web hosting you are creating.
  • Email space: Disk space allocated for the email accounts created under the hosting.
  • FTP accounts: Number of FTP accounts available for the web hosting.
  • Enable email service for this hosting?: Activate this option only if you want to use CDmon’s email service.
  • Email accounts: This option appears when the previous one is enabled, requiring at least one email account to be created.
  • Enable Antivirus/Antispam: Antivirus/antispam filtering for email accounts.
  • MySQL / PostgreSQL databases: Number of databases available for the web hosting.
  • Cronjobs: Number of crons available for the web hosting.
  • Mailman lists: Number of Mailman lists available for the hosting.
  • Mailman users: Number of Mailman users available for the hosting.
  • Auto-configure DNS: Option to automatically configure the DNS of the hosted domain in CDmon.com.
 
When you click “Apply changes”, you’ll access the final modification screen, where you’ll see a comparison table showing the Current configuration and the New configuration, allowing you to see the differences between them.
 
 
If you want to apply these new features, simply click again on Enable changes and they will be implemented in the hosting.
