Pilotron is your artificial intelligence assistant in the cdmon control panel. With this tool, you can manage and obtain information about your hosting services quickly and easily, without needing to manually navigate through the control panel.
In this guide, we explain the actions you can currently perform to manage your static DNS service with Pilotron.
How to access Pilotron?
Accessing Pilotron is very easy. Just follow these steps:
Log in to your cdmon control panel.
In the bottom right corner of the screen, you will see the Pilotron button. Click on it.
An interactive chat window will open where you can start interacting with the assistant.
What actions can you perform with Pilotron?
Currently, Pilotron allows you to perform the following actions related to your static DNS:
- List and copy your DNS zones
- Add a DNS zone
- Transfer a DNS zone to another cdmon user
- Register a domain
- Manage DNS records (list, edit, delete)
- Create a new DNS record
- Check DNSSEC status and enable/disable it
1. List and copy your DNS zones
You can request a list of all DNS zones created in your account.
In the chat, type something like "List my DNS zones". Pilotron will return a list of active DNS zones in your account. Example response:
If you need to duplicate a zone configuration, you can make an exact copy.
In the chat, type "Make a copy of a DNS zone". You will be asked to specify the source zone and the new zone name.
2. Add a DNS zone
You can quickly create a new static DNS zone for a new domain.
In the chat, type "Add a DNS zone". Pilotron will ask for the domain name and create it automatically.
3. Transfer a DNS zone to another cdmon user
You can transfer one of your DNS zones to another cdmon user.
In the chat, type "I want to transfer one of my DNS zones to another user". Pilotron will ask for the zone name and the recipient user.
4. Register a domain
You can also register a new domain directly from Pilotron.
In the chat, type "I want to register a new domain". Pilotron will check availability and guide you.
5. Manage DNS records (list, edit, delete)
You can view, edit or delete DNS records from a zone.
In the chat, type "Edit a DNS record" or "Delete a DNS record".
6. Create a new DNS record
You can create new DNS records by specifying the type.
In the chat, type "Create a DNS record" or "Create a TXT record". Pilotron will request type, name, value and TTL.
7. Check DNSSEC status and enable/disable it
You can check if DNSSEC is enabled and activate or deactivate it.
In the chat, type "Is DNSSEC active?" or "Enable DNSSEC".
