Requirements for transferring a .be domain
Before requesting the transfer of a .be domain, we must ensure that we meet the basic requirements:
- The domain cannot be expired. If the domain is expired (Quarantine), it cannot be transferred to cdmon.
- You must obtain the AUTH CODE before requesting the transfer. This code is essential to request the domain transfer to cdmon. Entering it will initiate the transfer.
How do I obtain the auth code for a .be domain?
- If you do not know the auth code associated with your domain, you can obtain it from the website dns.be
The steps to follow to request the transfer are:
On the main website, enter the domain name you wish to transfer to submit the request. Once entered, press Check.
A message will appear indicating that the domain is already registered, so press the option "More info about dominio.be" to access the information.
Finally, before accessing the information, you must validate access by pressing "I agree".
A new page will now open with the domain information, and at the bottom there is a box from which you can request the Authcode:
Here you simply need to press the "YES" option to request the transfer.
