All domains must always have servers assigned in order to be managed. In other words, the DNS server is what "tells" a domain where to go when displaying a website, accessing email, connecting via FTP, etc...
First of all, make sure that your domain is using cdmon's dynamic DNS servers, otherwise it will not be possible to manage it from our DNS control panel. Below are our DNS servers for systems using dynamic IPs (IPs that change frequently):
- dinamic1.cdmon.net: 46.16.60.166
- dinamic2.cdmon.net: 46.16.60.159
- dinamic3.cdmon.net: 35.156.85.88
In most providers it is not necessary to specify the IP of each DNS server, however we provide them here in case they are required.
How can you check which DNS servers are associated with your domain? If the domain is registered with cdmon, you can check the DNS servers from your control panel. To do so, first access domain management: Access domain management
If the domain is not registered with cdmon, you can check the DNS servers using a "whois" on our website .
First, search for your domain in the Whois tool and click on View Whois. A new window will show the domain information, where you can check which DNS it uses. In most cases, domains use the registrar's DNS. If your domain is not using our DNS (dinamic1.cdmon.net, dinamic2.cdmon.net, dinamic3.cdmon.net), you must configure them from your provider. Keep in mind that DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours.
