- .be domains can only be registered for a maximum of 1 year and expire 2 days before the anniversary date.
- .be domains can have a maximum of 63 characters and a minimum of 2.
- Domain activation is immediate.
- This domain does not allow the registration of multilingual IDN characters.
- A change of ownership must be requested via ticket and has a cost because it includes one year of renewal.
- The change of ownership resets the expiration date based on when the change becomes effective.
