Creating the alternative email for your user account

Associating an alternative email account with your cdmon user account will allow you to use that account if you need to recover your control panel password, in case the main email account is inactive or you don't remember it.

 

To associate an alternative email, click on the User Management dropdown found in the top right corner of your control panel and go to User and Security. On the next screen, in the "User Data" section, you can enter your alternative email address in the blank box provided. For the indicated account to be saved correctly, don't forget to click Save changes.

Important: The alternative email cannot match the contact email, so you must use a different account or leave the field blank if you don't have another account.

 

If at any time you forget your control panel access keys, you can use the contact email or the alternative email to perform  password recovery.
