If you have created hosting with cdmon and want to import emails from another account, you can easily do so from the "Account management" section in the Control Panel.
This feature imports the emails that are stored on the source server; therefore, it is ideal for IMAP-type accounts.
The process synchronizes the information on the source server with the destination mailbox. This means that the import can be performed whenever necessary, as it will only import the new emails that are on the source server since the last import.
The following steps show how to do it.
1.-Hosting email management
Access the "Account management" section from the Basic service list.

2.-Email account configuration
If you do not have the accounts created in your cdmon hosting, you must create them in order to import the emails from the original account. Click here and follow the tutorial steps to create the accounts.
Once the accounts have been created, click the Import email icon of the email account where you want to perform this import.

3.- Start import
In the import form, you must enter the source server details of the email account whose content you want to import.

In this section, you must specify the following points:
- Source IP or IMAP server: IP or server name where the email account to import is located.
- Secure connection: by default it is not checked, but it can be checked if the source server requires this type of connection. The indicated port can be modified according to the source server configuration.
- Source account user: you must enter the full email address of the account to import.
- Source account password: you must enter the password of the account you want to import.
- Email address where the response will be sent when finished: once the import is complete, information with the result of the process will be sent to this address.
Once you have entered all the data correctly, click the Start Import button to begin the process. Once finished, you will receive an email in the account indicated in the form.
The import system does not allow two simultaneous migrations to the same account, so the "Start import" button appears inactive if there is a migration in progress.
