How to issue or re-issue an SSL certificate from the cdmon dashboard

If you have a hosting plan contracted with us, you can now install or renew (reissue) your free SSL certificate directly from the cdmon control panel. Here we explain how to do it step by step.

Access your control panel. Log in to admin.cdmon.com with your credentials.
  1. Once inside, go to the list of your contracted services. Click the Hosting button

  1. Inside the hosting management, scroll down to the bottom until you find a group of icons. Click on “Security” and then on the “SSL Certificates” icon.

In this section you will be able to see if you already have an SSL certificate installed for the main domain of your hosting. Subdomains or aliases will also be displayed if they exist.
  1. If the SSL is already installed, you will see the status as “Activated”.

  1. If the certificate is already installed and you need to renew it, you will see the button “Reissue SSL certificate”. When you click it, a warning like this will appear:
IMPORTANT: You can only use this function once every 7 days. If you try to do it earlier, the process will not be completed.

  1. If it has not yet been installed, it may appear as “Processing…”. In that case we recommend letting the panel finish the process, as it may take several minutes.
  2. It may also not display any domain. In that case, you will need to start the installation manually by clicking the button "Install free SSL certificate".

Requirements for SSL installation
For the certificate to be installed correctly, at least one domain or subdomain must point to the hosting IP. This means:
  1. If the domain is registered with cdmon and uses our DNS, the process is automatic.
  2. If the domain is registered with another provider, make sure it points to the hosting IP before requesting the SSL. How to create an IP redirection or an A record
