How to put your website in maintenance mode
The cdmon maintenance tool allows you to display a temporary page to your visitors while you perform technical tasks on your website. When enabled, any access to your domain will automatically show a notice page, preventing users from seeing content under construction or possible errors during the work you are carrying out.
It is important to keep in mind that this mode affects only the website content: email services, FTP access, databases, and the control panel will continue to work normally.
To enable this feature, first access the cdmon Control Panel and go to the basic services list. Locate the hosting on which you want to enable maintenance mode and click on the web hosting button.
Once inside, you will see the general information of the contracted hosting. Specifically, you must access the fourth section, “Server”, and click on the last icon, shown as “Maintenance page”.
When you click on this option, you will find the “Maintenance mode configuration” section. To activate it, simply click the button on the right. This button will initially appear as “Disabled”. When clicked, a brief loading bar will be displayed, and once the process is complete, the button will turn green, indicating that maintenance mode has been successfully activated:

NOTE: If you want to customize the page shown to visitors, you can do so by directly editing the file /maintenance/index.html. You can access it from the file manager in your control panel or via an FTP connection (How to connect via FTP using webFTP). This file can be freely modified to adapt the message, style, or add elements such as your logo, corporate colors, or any specific notice you want to display while you work on your site.
When you finish the maintenance tasks, you can return to this same section of the panel and disable the mode with a single click. Your website will immediately become visible again to all users.
