How to register cdmon hosting
In this guide, we will show the essential basics of what hosting is, how to purchase hosting from our commercial website, and why it is highly recommended that you consider registering one for your online presence.

How do I purchase hosting with cdmon?
The first step to register hosting with us is to access our commercial website cdmon.com. From this page, you can see all the information you need about our products and also about cdmon. To register new hosting, you must go to the top left, in the "Hostings" section and access "Hosting plans":
Below is a table of the main hosting plans we offer. In this window, you can see the features of each one in more detail to determine which best suits the needs of your website.
If you want to start a completely new website and do not know which hosting plan to purchase, we recommend starting with a Junior or a Senior, as it allows you to install CMS applications (WordPress, Prestashop, etc.) and also includes many email accounts.
If the information shown in this window does not provide all the details you are looking for, you can scroll down a bit and go to the "View full features" button:
From here, you will be able to see all the shared hosting plans available at cdmon. This window shows all the features of our hosting plans in more detail, and at the bottom you can expand the sections to see even more specifications for each type of plan.
Once you have decided which plan you want, you must click "Purchase", the pink button shown below the name of each plan. We will purchase the Senior plan as an example for this guide:
Next, our website will ask you to indicate the domain name you want to associate with this new hosting. If you do not know what a domain is, you can access this guide where we show step by step How to register a domain in cdmon.
In any case, from this same section you can register a new domain if you do not have one registered yet. In this example, we will use the domain "exampledomain.com" and tell the control panel that we do not have this domain and want to register it, meaning the purchase will be for domain + hosting.
If you already have the domain purchased, you must select the other option, "I already have a registered domain"
Once you have entered the domain name you want to assign to the hosting, you must click "Purchase hosting and domain"
Next, the website should confirm that it has added the hosting to the shopping cart. To continue with the payment, you must click "Go to cart":
Clicking that button will redirect us to the shopping cart on our website. There you can see that the hosting you added has been included, and the next step is to make the payment so that the purchase can be completed.
In the first step of the cart, you must verify the products you want to pay for. In this image, the hosting and domain payment appears because in the previous step we indicated that we wanted to register both. If you choose the "I already have the domain registered" option, only the hosting type you selected will appear in this section. If everything is correct, you must click on "Next step":
If you are carrying out these steps without having logged in to our control panel, the shopping cart will ask you to identify yourself before continuing with the purchase. If you are already a cdmon customer, you only need to enter your access credentials in the "I am already a customer" section and log in. If you are not yet a cdmon customer, you must go to the "I am not a customer" section and register with us; it is completely free.
Next, it will ask you to enter the billing details for this purchase. You can use the details of a billing contact you have created in your cdmon user account or enter the details manually for this new registration:
In this same window, you must select the payment method you want to use to make the payment deposit/bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard card, direct debit or PayPal:
· If you choose deposit/bank transfer, our bank account details will appear so you can make the deposit.
· If you choose Visa or Mastercard, the bank card payment gateway that provides us with this service will appear.
· If you choose Direct Debit, depending on the billing period you selected, cdmon will issue a bank receipt for the corresponding amount, and automatic renewal will be carried out.
· If you choose PayPal, PayPal payments have a surcharge of 1.8% + €0.35, corresponding to the difference in PayPal fees compared to Visa / MasterCard card payments.
To finish, this window will appear indicating that an email has been sent to the domain holder's email address to validate this purchase. You must access the email address in question and accept the email you received there. It is important to mention that this window does not always appear; it depends on the domain extension you register:
Once you have validated the email, you can click "Understood" to close this window. Finally, you must check that all the details you entered are correct and, if so, go to the very bottom and check the terms and policies option:
To finish, the window will open so you can make the payment according to the method you selected in the previous step. We show a screenshot of the window when selecting card payment as the payment method.
With these steps, you will have completed the registration of a completely new hosting. As soon as you make the payment, you can access your cdmon control panel and verify that it appears in your Hosting List; it should take a few minutes to appear.
