In order to publish your project on the internet, you need a domain to associate with your website so visitors can access it through it. From cdmon you can register and manage a wide variety of domain extensions. In this guide we will show you how to register a domain.
IMPORTANT: This guide will show how to register a .com domain (gTLD). We want to emphasize that the number of extensions is very large and some have more specific processes.
To begin, you must access the main page of cdmon.com and enter the new domain you want to register in the domain search, as shown in the image:
If the domain is available, it will be indicated just below the search. If the domain is already registered by someone else, you will be able to view the WHOIS information of that domain to see its public details.
To proceed with the domain registration, you must click on "Add":
The product will already have been added to the shopping cart. If you access it, you will see that you can proceed with the payment for the registration:
IMPORTANT: The image shown below will only appear if you have not previously logged in with your cdmon user. You must log in with the user where you want to manage this domain.
Next, you must enter the domain registration details, that is, the domain owner information.
After entering the domain ownership details, you must provide the billing information for this purchase. If you have a billing contact created in your cdmon account, you can fill it in automatically. Billing contact management
You must also select the payment method to complete the purchase (Card, Bank Transfer or PayPal)
Finally, you must accept the terms and data privacy policies to proceed.
Depending on the selected payment method, you must complete it for the registration to be effective.
If the payment has been completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email from cdmon and the domain will appear in the domain list in your control panel.
