In this article, we explain how to configure the newsletter user in Outlook quickly and easily.
1.- Initial account setup
Access Outlook, select the "File" option, "Information" and click on Account Settings.

Next, the list of created accounts will be displayed. Select the one where you want to configure newsletter sending and click on Change.

2.- Main account details
In the current account settings, modify the outgoing server with the one created in the newsletter user section and access "More Settings".

3.- Advanced email account options
Once inside the advanced options, access the "Outgoing Server" tab, select the Log on using option and enter the username created for the newsletter and the password you assigned in the control panel.

IMPORTANT: From the "Advanced" window you can configure the incoming and outgoing ports for the email account. To configure the newsletter user, it is only necessary to modify the SMTP outgoing port. If the Newsletter account is created on a virtual/dedicated server, you can configure the outgoing port with 465 and the SSL encrypted connection:

IMPORTANT: If the Newsletter user is created on shared hosting (Junior, Senior, Master), the outgoing port is different. In this case, the enabled ports are 587/578 and the TLS encrypted connection:

When you return to the account settings screen, click on Next. It may ask you for the username and password of the email account. Enter them again and accept.

If you configured the SMTP outgoing port with TLS and the indicated ports (587/578), the following Outlook window will appear to accept the certificate security exception. Simply click on "Yes" so it saves all the configuration:

If the account has been configured correctly, you will see a window like the following:

Your email account is now configured in Outlook with the Newsletter User.
