Request the transfer of a generic domain (gTLD)
To proceed with the domain transfer, you must meet the following requirements:
- The domain must be active and have at least 6 days remaining before expiration.
- The domain must be at least 60 days old. Domains with fewer days are not transferable.
- The domain must be unlocked. Locked domains are not transferable.
- You need the AUTH CODE. Without this code, you will not be able to transfer the domain.
To request a TLD domain transfer to cdmon using the assistant, you must access the cdmon website. Once inside, go to the Domains section and click on Transfer domains.
You must enter the name of the domain you wish to transfer and click Check.
If you have the necessary information and the domain meets the requirements, you must enter the AUTH CODE provided by your current registrar.
When entering the AUTH CODE, if it is correct, you will see the following screen indicating that the code is valid and you can Add the domain to the shopping cart.
Once you click the "Add" button, the domain appears as selected and you must click Go to cart to begin the transfer payment process.
The transfer request is added to the cart, where you must complete the purchase process.
