To request the transfer of a .es domain to cdmon, it is necessary to have access to the administrative contact email in order to approve the transfer. You can request the transfer from the cdmon website or from your cdmon control panel.
1.- Request the transfer from the cdmon website
To request the transfer, go to the cdmon website and move the cursor to the “Domains” option in the top menu. A dropdown menu will appear where you must click the option Transfer domains.
Once on the Transfer domain screen, enter the domain you want to transfer and click Check.
Next, at the bottom of the screen, you will see: the domain to transfer, whether it is available for transfer, and the transfer price (which includes one year of renewal).
* On the same screen, at the bottom, you will find more information about how to transfer a domain to cdmon, the advantages of transferring your domain to cdmon, and a price table for transfers.
Once the option is clicked, you will see the fields to enter the domain’s AuthCode and then “Validate”.
When entering the AUTH CODE , if it is correct, you will see the following screen indicating that the code is correct and you can add the domain to the shopping cart.
In the shopping cart, if you do not want to add more products, click the Next step
*For .es domains, once in the shopping cart, you can modify the transfer price to €0 by changing the Period option to 0 years.
When placing the order from the website, if you are not logged in, it will ask you to log in as a cdmon user. If you are not a cdmon user, you can click the option I am not a customer.
If you do not have a payment method set, you will reach the next screen regarding billing and payment methods, where you must select a payment method and enter your billing details.
Once the payment method and billing details are set, you will go to the order confirmation screen, where you must verify that all information is correct, accept the terms and policies, and click the Place order option.
When clicking the Place order option, a summary of your order will appear where you can see an order code (CMDxxxxxxx).
Once the order payment is completed and processed, the Administrative Contact of the domain receives an email from dominios.es to approve the transfer and finalize the process
2.- Request the transfer from the cdmon control panel.
To request the transfer, go to your cdmon control panel and in the “Basic service list”, click on the New service registration icon.
In the “New service registration” option, choose Domains.
In the domains option you will see two possibilities: “New domain” or “Transfer your domain”. Click on the option Transfer your domain to cdmon.
Once you click Transfer your domain to cdmon, you will be redirected to the section “Transfer Web Domains to cdmon”. There you must search for the .es domain you want to transfer and follow the steps from point 1 (Request the transfer from the cdmon website).
