Where to see the transfer consumption made by our accommodation

In the hosting control panel you can review different consumption data of your hosting. You can check the used space and consumed transfer, as well as the daily requests received by your hosting.
To view all this information, you must access the Consumption graphs icon, in the 'Statistics' section of the hosting control panel.

Once inside, you will find different graphs.

1.-Used disk space
Through the chart you can visualize what percentage of space is occupied compared to the free space in your hosting.

2.-Consumed transfer
Through the following graph you can visualize the volume of transfer consumed each day. A daily total is displayed and, as a limit, 100% of the contracted transfer. If you want to view previous months, you can use the selectors and then click the Load button.

By clicking the More details button you can see the breakdown of transfer consumption divided by type of usage.
There are several types of transfer consumption.

  • Accumulated web transfer
This type of transfer is generated by access to the website. When a user browses your website and views content, it generates transfer that is counted in this section.

  • Accumulated FTP transfer
When you upload files to the hosting using an FTP client program, this type of transfer is generated. In this section you can check which FTP users have consumed transfer.

In the FTP transfer breakdown details you can see the consumption generated by the GET and PUT commands, also detailed by FTP users.

  • Accumulated email transfer
Downloading and checking email also generate transfer consumption. In this section you have the breakdown of this consumption depending on whether it was used through webmail or an email client and also specified by each email account.

If you click on "More details" you will get the breakdown of email transfer.

In this option you can see the consumption graphs generated by email divided into several parts: transfer consumption generated by checking and downloading email via POP and IMAP, transfer consumption generated by webmail, transfer consumption generated by the Newsletter user and the Mailman application, and also the consumption generated by sending emails through SMTP.

If you click on the More details option you will access a breakdown of POP3/IMAP transfer consumption specified by each created email user, as shown in the image below.

3.-Daily requests
Through the following graph you can visualize the number of daily requests generated by your web hosting. These requests are the sum of requests generated by visits, search engine bots, and error pages. The daily generated value is displayed and, as a limit, the number of daily requests recommended by the plan. If you want to view previous months, you must use the selectors and then click the Load button. You can find more information about what a request is on the support page Web hosting consumption control.

Unserved requests correspond to those requests that could not be processed because the web hosting has reached the maximum limit allowed by the system. These types of requests usually appear for two clear reasons: the first corresponds to a natural increase in daily visits due to the success of the website. The second may be due to occasional visits from various search engine bots that generate extra load on the website and cause the limits to be reached.
