The owner contact is the legitimate owner of the domain. In addition, as the owner, they are the person responsible for the use of the domain, and therefore must assume responsibility for anything done with it. Below we show you, depending on the extension, how to consult the owner data of a domain using our whois search tool:
Whois data of the owner of a .com, .net, .tv, or .cc domain
Additional information about the owner of a .es domain can be obtained through the lookup tool of the domain’s managing entity, Nic.es:
In this case, our whois search tool will not display this information. The owner data of a .eu domain must always be checked through the lookup tool of the extension’s managing entity: EuRid
