What is Paypal?
Paypal is an electronic payment system similar to VISA or Mastercard systems, with the advantage over other electronic payment systems that you do not need to enter card details, since Paypal acts as a gateway between your regular bank and the merchant.
Paypal is very commonly used by individuals around the world for their personal transactions; a clear example is Ebay buying and selling, where most transactions can only be paid with Paypal.
What are the advantages of paying with Paypal? Paypal is more oriented towards Internet payments and has control mechanisms that make it a safer option compared to other payment systems. It has direct support for its users in cases of fraud and scams that protect individuals and businesses.
Why is there an additional fee for payments to cdmon? Offering a system designed exclusively for making payments over the Internet has higher costs than other online payment systems, which are reflected in each transaction as a fee. This fee is collected through the merchant that charges the transaction.
Other merchants pass this fee on to the direct price of the service/product, but at cdmon current rates do not include this passed-on fee, so the fee difference must be applied to the current prices. This fee is the cost difference compared to other payment systems that are already implemented and passed on. cdmon passes on 1.8% + €0.35 for each payment made with Paypal.
What alternatives do I have if I don't want to pay with Paypal? You can pay with a Visa or Mastercard card, which have their own security system, or if you are a resident in Spain, you can make a bank transfer to the accounts we provide.
A refund is the return of the amount of an order paid via Paypal.
