What actions can you take with Pilotron?
Pilotron currently allows you to take the following actions related to the management of your backups:

1. Restore a backup

With Pilotron, you can restore a full backup, only web files or only from the database.
In chat, write a text like "Restore a backup". Pilotron will show you the available options and guide you in selecting the type of restoration you need:

When you open the drop-down, the selector appears to choose the type of restore. You have three restoration options:
  • Complete restoration:The complete restoration retrieves all databases and files in the hosting, and replaces the current content.
  • Restore web files:This option only allows you to recover files from your website and does not retrieve databases. For this option, Pilotron will redirect to the "restoration tool" of the selected hosting and you will be able to browse the files of this hosting and mark the ones you want to restore, you can see more information in the following link: Restore web files
  • Restore database:This option allows you to retrieve the hosting databases.

Once the copy type is selected, Pilotron will display a drop-down with available copies, depending on your hosting type:
  • Shared hosts: Last 15 days.
  • Virtual/dedicated hosts: Last 10 days.
Select the day of the backup you want to restore. Click the button Send to confirm restoration.
Pilotron will start the process and inform you when the restoration is complete.

2. View restoration history
You can review the history of restorations made to your hosting.

In the chat, write "I want to see my backup restorations". Pilotron will attach a link to access the "Historic of restorations made", indicating the date and type of copy restored.
