Change the holder of a .fr domain
In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to change the ownership of a .fr domain. This may be due to a sale, a transfer between companies, internal changes in the organization or any other situation requiring a change in domain ownership.
Before proceeding, determine exactly which domain information you need to change. This can range from a complete change of ownership to updating a specific data, such as the email address or postal address associated with the domain.
Once you know what information you want to change, you must email our domain team to dominios@cdmon.com. Make sure you include in the email: The name of the .fr domain whose ownership you wish to change
The specific information you want to update. If this is a change of ownership, it includes all the details of the new owner. If you only need to update a specific data, be sure to state clearly what it is.
Once we receive and validate your request, we will proceed to send a request to the .fr Domain Register (AFNIC). AFNIC will then send a confirmation email to both the current holder and the new holder, requesting acceptance of the change.
