FAQs: Balance - Volume discount

Question: What does Balance mean?
Answer:
It is the control panel tool where you manage the amount previously added. With this amount you can buy, renew, or transfer domains. It also includes other advantages such as being able to activate automatic renewals. It is accessed through the Payment Control option in the Billing menu of the cdmon control panel.

Q: How does it work?
A:
You add an initial amount to a deposit account and once you have made the prepayment, the option to pay with Balance will appear when you place an order for domains. When you register a domain with this system, use the traditional method at cdmon, once you reach the screen to select the payment method, select "Balance" and within a few minutes you will have your domain registered. The cost of the domain will be deducted from the amount in the Balance section.

Q: How long do I have to spend the money?
A:
There is no expiration date for the deposited money.

Q: Do I have any history of domains registered with this method?
R:
Yes, in your control panel you have a screen with a history of registered and available domains. As well as a record of the amounts deposited and a list of domains registered with this service.

Q: What advantages do I get?
A:
The convenience of not having to regularly make transfers and card payments to cdmon.

You also benefit from the automatic renewal system (which deducts the amount from your balance once the service is renewed) and from instant domain registration without having to pay by card, make a bank transfer, or deposit from your Paypal account.

Q: Which domains can I register?
A: All domains available at cdmon.

Q: Who is this service recommended for?
A:
For design studios, associations, freelance designers, web programmers, computer stores, entrepreneurs, and a long etc. Remember that the Balance does not expire.

Q: What happens if I want to register a domain for 5 years but I don't have enough Balance?
A:
You will not be able to register the domain for 5 years. You can only use that amount as long as the order placed does not exceed the available Balance amount.

Q: What happens if I make a mistake in the registered domain?
A:
You can request the cancellation of the registered domain. Cancellation can only be carried out as long as it never exceeds the period of 2-5 days from the registration date and if the provider or registry accepts the operation. You can consult the cancellation conditions by contacting cdmon's technical support at tecnico@cdmon.com.

Q: Do you have any API for resellers?
A:
For the moment we do not have such an API, although we will have it in the very near future.

Q: What is the minimum amount I can top up?
A:
The minimum top-up amount for Balance is 1 euro.

Q: How do I top up my Balance?
A:
Top up from the Balance section of your control panel. Simply indicate the amount to add to the Balance, add the product to the cart, and follow the purchase wizard to pay the indicated amount.

Q: If I have domains with automatic renewal and I don't have enough money in my Balance, will the renewals be processed?
A:
No. When you don't have enough money in the Balance, the system cannot proceed with the renewal. In this case, you will receive a notice at your contact address informing you that the order could not be processed due to insufficient funds in the Balance, so that you can top up your Balance before the system tries to process the order again.

Q: If I activate automatic renewal, when are the domains renewed?
A:
Domains with automatic renewal activated are renewed 14 days before their expiration date.

Q: Is an invoice issued for each purchase paid with Balance?
A:
Yes. You receive an invoice with no amount for each purchase paid with Balance.
