Ensuring that your website is visible on all major search engines is crucial to reaching the maximum audience potential. Bing, as one of the leading search engines, offers its own Search Console that allows website owners to manage how their domains appear in search results.
Adding your domain to Bing Search Console not only helps improve your SEO, but also provides valuable tools to analyze your website's performance and optimize its visibility.
In this guide, we show you step by step how to add your domain to Bing Search Console.
First of all, you need to access Microsoft's webmaster tool website to begin the setup process. You can access it through this link. You must sign in to your account in order to link the configuration.
Once you have signed in, you will see the window to add your domain name. Enter your domain name in the "Add your site manually" section:
Note: If you already have your domain configured in Google Search Console, you can import the data so it is automatically associated. You will need to confirm with your Google account to link the data. How to add a cdmon domain to Google Search Console
Next, you must select the validation method so the tool can confirm ownership/management of the domain.
If your domain is pointing to cdmon and you use our DNS servers, we recommend using validation through a CNAME record.
Note: You can also use validation through an XML file. In that case, you will need to upload the file provided by Bing Search Console to your hosting account. You can upload the file via FTP: How to connect via FTP using webFTP
When you access the DNS records panel in our control panel, click on "Create new record" and complete the record information using the details provided in your Bing panel.

If you try to verify the domain without the record being created correctly, you will receive an error and will be able to try again:
You can close the verification section. In the previous window, you can review the configuration requests and see that verification is still pending:
Once the record has been created and propagated correctly, performing the verification should confirm that the domain has been successfully added:
With these steps, you have successfully added your domain to Bing Search Console. You can now begin exploring all the tools and resources Bing offers to optimize your website. This will allow you to analyze your pages' performance, better understand how users reach your site, and make the necessary adjustments to improve your ranking in search results.
