How to export your RoundCube calendar and import it into SOGo

If you have been using Roundcube as your webmail client and are now starting to use SOGo, you may want to keep your calendar. Below we explain how to export your calendar from Roundcube in a compatible format and how to easily import it into SOGo to continue working with it.

1. Export calendar from Roundcube
  1. Access your email account through the Roundcube webmail. (for example: roundcube.yourdomain.com) How to access and manage Roundcube
  2. Once inside, go to the Calendar section, located in the left-hand side menu.


  1. Inside this section, make sure the calendar you want to export is selected
  2. Click the Export button at the top, and select the option Export all. A .ics file containing all your events and tasks for the selected days will be downloaded automatically.


2. Access the calendar in SOGo
  1. Log into your email account via SOGo. (for example: sogo.yourdomain.com) How to access and manage email accounts from SOGo

  1. Once inside, access the calendar section by clicking the calendar icon.


  1. Select the option Personal Calendar and click the vertical three-dot icon on its right. If none appears or you accidentally deleted it, you can create a new one:


3. Import the calendar
  1. In the dropdown menu, select Import.


  1. A window will appear where you can select the file. Click the Upload button and select the .ics file exported previously from Roundcube.


  1. Once the import is complete, a confirmation message will appear in the bottom-right corner showing how many events were successfully added. You will now be able to see all events and dates in your calendar listed.
