How to modify a web hosting to a Mail plan

In some situations, the web service of your hosting is no longer used or, for any reason, you only want to keep the email service of the hosting. In these cases, we recommend changing your current hosting plan to a Mail plan.

How to change a web hosting plan to a Mail plan? To change your current hosting plan to a Mail plan, you must access the hosting management from the control panel:

 

 

Once inside, go to the “Hosting Information” section and locate the “Plan Type” section, then click on “Change”:

 

 

At this point, a table will appear showing the features of your current hosting plan, and on the right, the plan you want to switch to. In the dropdown menu, select the Mail plan, and just below it, the table will display the features of this plan as shown in the image:

 

 

From this section, you can add extra email accounts beyond the 10 already included in the Mail plan.

Next, the system will allow you to choose between two ways to pay for the upgrade.

• Add to cart: the upgrade amount will be added to the shopping cart. You can then select the payment method that best suits your needs (Bank transfer, Visa/MasterCard or PayPal).
• Reduce expiration date: this option allows you to pay for the upgrade using the available balance of your current hosting. Since it is a higher plan, the expiration date will be reduced according to the new daily cost. When selecting this option, a third screen will appear showing a breakdown of the operation, allowing you to accept it or not.

 

 

Once you have confirmed the features of the new plan, click on “Add to cart”.

 

IMPORTANT: The Mail plan does not include databases, SSH service, or secondary FTP users. Therefore, if you attempt to make the change without first removing these features, the control panel will not allow the change and will indicate which elements are preventing the modification:

 

 

Next, a confirmation window will appear to review the details. Once confirmed, you can proceed with the purchase steps and you will automatically be redirected to the shopping cart:
