In this guide, we show you step by step how to access and manage your cdmon WordPress hosting from your control panel.
This plan has been specifically designed to provide an optimized and robust solution for managing your WordPress-based websites. With the "Manage WordPress" tool, you can efficiently administer all your WordPress installations and take full advantage of the advanced features we offer.
The first step is to access your hosting service from the main list of services available in your panel. This list shows all active services, including the hosting you need to manage your repositories and websites.

2- Application access details
Next, navigate to the Applications section and click on Application access details:

Within this section, you can view both the username and password to access your WordPress administrator panel.

- Date: CMS installation date
- CMS: The installed CMS (in WordPress hosting, it will always be WordPress)
- Version: The installed CMS version
- Action: The action performed (in this case, an installation)
- User: Administrator username
- Password: Administrator password
- Path: Installation path of WordPress
NOTE: If you modify the username or password from the WordPress admin panel, these changes will not be reflected on this screen. This section only shows the credentials automatically generated by the installer in the control panel.
Once you have your username and password, you can access your WordPress administrator panel to start building your website. If this is your first time accessing the admin panel, you may see the initial setup wizard, which allows you to use the Extendify plugin and create content using Artificial Intelligence. For more information, see the following link: How to use the Extendify plugin in the WordPress hosting plan

Returning to the hosting management section, you can access Manage WordPress to view installation options and WordPress settings for your hosting account.

In this section, you can perform different actions:
- URL: The URL of the website created with WordPress
- WP Version: The installed WordPress version
- Path: Installation path
- Updates: Section to enable or disable automatic updates (enabled by default)

- Core WP Major: Enables major WordPress updates with new features and improvements.
- Core WP Minor: Enables critical security and maintenance updates.
- Plugins: Enables automatic updates for installed plugins.
- Themes: Enables automatic updates for installed themes.

- Search active installations: This panel is dynamic and does not keep a full history. If you delete WordPress files via FTP/SSH, you can refresh the list using this button to show only current installations.

- Add WordPress: Perform a new WordPress installation in the root directory (overwrites the default installation) or in a custom folder.

You can access your WordPress hosting via SSH (How to enable SSH access). From there, you can run specific commands to manage your WordPress installation more directly without using graphical interfaces.
For example, to confirm that WordPress is installed and active on your hosting, you can use the command
wp --version:
