IMPORTANT: For security reasons, port 25 has been disabled for sending emails. If your email client is configured with this port, you must update it to continue sending emails. New recommended configuration:
SMTP Server: smtp.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with the name of your hosting)
Port: 587
Security: STARTTLS
Authentication: enabled
Password: normal (not encrypted)
How to change the outgoing port in Mail (Mac)
Open Mail
Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts
Select your account
Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), click Edit SMTP Server List
Select the server and edit:
Port: 587
Use TLS/SSL: enabled
Authentication: password
Save the changes
