It is likely that, while browsing or making changes in your cdmon control panel, you may have encountered an error or obstacle in some process. In this guide, we compile the most common errors in the cdmon control panel and how to resolve them.
1. I cannot log in
If you are having difficulty accessing your account, you may need to reset your password. Go to the "Forgot your password?" section on the login page, enter the email address associated with your Cdmon account and follow the link you will receive in your email to reset the password. For detailed instructions, see our specific password recovery guide
here.
2. Problems with Email Accounts
If the email accounts you created are not operational or you cannot access them, check the status of the email service in the "
Email configuration" section within the hosting management. Make sure the service is "Enabled".
It is possible that the email service buttons are not active in your control panel. Make sure to review the features of the plan associated with that hosting.
3. SSL Certificate Button Disabled
If you notice that the SSL Certificate button is disabled, you may need to upgrade your plan to include this service. Explore our options on our commercial website
here. In addition, we suggest reviewing a detailed plan comparison
here.
The button may appear disabled if you have an external SSL certificate installed, in which case the control panel will notify you.
4. Error When Modifying Hosting Features
When trying to modify the hosting features, especially when downgrading the plan, an error related to databases or multidomains/aliases created in the hosting may appear. Before making changes, make sure to manually delete these features so they match the features of the new plan you want to associate
5. Internal Migration Button Disabled
Internal migration allows you to transfer the management of a hosting to another cdmon user.
If the internal migration button is disabled, it could be because your hosting is on a virtual/dedicated server. First, move your hosting to a shared plan before attempting the internal migration. See more details
here. Afterwards, the internal migration process should be completed without issues.
6. DNS Does Not Appear in the Basic Service List
If the DNS for your domain/hosting does not appear in the basic list, it is likely that another user previously managed it. In this case, you need to request the DNS transfer to your user. Please note that only the domain owner can make this request.
7. SSL Certificate Active, but the Website Does Not Appear Secure
Although the SSL certificate is active, your website may appear as not secure (HTTP) due to mixed content or because the secure connection (HTTPS) is not being forced. We recommend reviewing your website code and considering the use of Really Simple SSL for WordPress. You can get more details
here.
8. Problems with FTP Access
If you have difficulties accessing FTP, check the service status in "File Managers" and "FTP" within the hosting management. The FTP service may be disabled if it has not been used in the last 30 days. This is a security measure to avoid possible unauthorized access to the server access server.
Whenever you cannot access the hosting via FTP, we recommend that you check the "FTP service status". We also suggest reviewing the
list of restricted IPs for FTP access. You can check it from the same FTP management section.
9. No Contracted Services Appear
If you do not see any services when accessing your panel, you may be using credentials for a user without contracted services. Check your emails, especially renewal and expiration reminders, to identify the correct user. If difficulties persist, contact our customer support service.
10. Cronjobs Buttons Disabled
If the Cronjobs buttons are disabled, it could be due to exceptional cronjobs configured on your hosting. These special cronjobs may prevent management from the control panel. If you want to reactivate the buttons, contact our team to remove the exceptional cronjobs if you wish.
