In cdmon, you have the option to add your email account in different email clients. In this tutorial, you will see how to do it in Thunderbird.
In this case, we use the account “videos@laboratoriocc.click” as an example. You should replace this address with the name of the email account you want to configure.
1. Account Configuration
Start by opening Thunderbird and click on the Mail option.
Note: If you already have an email account and want to add another, click on the name of the current account and select Mail.
On the next screen, enter the following information and click Continue:
Your name: Enter the name of the email account you are configuring.
Email address: Enter the email address you are configuring.
Password: Enter the password for the email account you are configuring.
For a few moments, the program processes the information you have provided and, once finished, it shows the incoming and outgoing server configuration, as you can see in the following image. If you want to change the security setting (default is STARTTLS) to SSL, click Configure manually.
In the next window, under the SSL section, change the option to SSL/TLS. You will notice that the incoming and outgoing ports are automatically updated as well. Once modified, click Re-test.
It will show the message "The following settings were found by probing the given server." Click Done.
The configuration will be checked, and your account will be set up. Can click "Finish" to go back to the Thunderbird folders
