At cdmon you have the option to configure your email account in different email clients, and now we explain how to do it for iPhone.
In this case, we use the account “demo@example.org” as an example; this email account must be replaced with the email address to be configured.
Enter the following information (replacing "yourdomain.com" with the name of the hosting where you have the email addresses):
Incoming mail server (IMAP)
Host name: imap.yourdomain.com
Username: your full email address
Password: the password for your email account
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Host name: smtp.yourdomain.com
Username: your full email address
Password: the password for your email account
Although it appears as “Optional”, it is mandatory to enter the username and password for the outgoing server (SMTP); otherwise, you will not be able to send email.
If a warning appears saying "Cannot Verify Server Identity", tap “Continue”.
This warning may appear twice: once for the IMAP server and once for SMTP.
3.- Advanced email account options
Once the account has been created, go back to Settings > Mail > Passwords and Accounts.
Access the account you have just configured.
Tap SMTP within the “Outgoing Mail Server” section.
Next, you must change the SMTP port to 465 and enable the "Use SSL" option.
Again, in the "Account" window, access the Advanced section.
In this last window, you must enable the SSL function and verify that the connection port is 993.
Once the details have been checked, tap Account and then Done.
