How to modify Sogo features

How to modify Sogo features

From the SOGo panel, you can customize different aspects of your account: language, time zone, email display, labels, folder synchronization, and IMAP settings. Below, we show you how to access these settings and which options you can modify.
  1. The first step is to access your email account from your hosting's SOGo login page (for example: sogo.yourdomain.com) How to access and manage email accounts from SOGo

  1. Once inside SOGo, click the gear icon located next to your email address (top left). This will take you to the settings panel, where the General, Calendar, Address Book, and Mail sections are grouped.

  1. Inside the General tab, you can modify basic options such as the interface language, time zone, date/time format, or the default module when logging in. This section allows you to adapt the tool to your personal preferences.

  1. In the Calendar section, you can customize and adjust parameters related to this email account's calendar. You can see more information at the following link: How to use the calendar in SOGo
  2. In the Address Book section, you can modify and customize the information of the contacts and contact lists you have created in this email account. You can see more information at the following link: How to use contacts in SOGo
  1. In the Mail section, you will find multiple options that directly affect how messages are displayed or managed in your inbox. Some of the most important ones are:
    1. Show only subscribed mailboxes
    2. Sort messages by threads
    3. Automatically mark messages as read
    4. Hide inline attachments
    5. Forward messages inline or as attachments
  1. From here, you can also choose how emails are composed or replied to and whether the signature is saved.

  1. Within the same Mail section, access the Labels tab to view and manage custom labels. You can add new labels, edit existing ones, or delete the ones you do not need. Each label is associated with an IMAP label.

  1. Finally, in the IMAP Accounts tab, you can manage the configured accounts. From here, you can add/edit the signature for your messages if you wish.

NOTE: Any changes you make in the preferences must be saved using the green button located at the top right. These options allow you to adapt SOGo to your workflow and daily usage preferences.
