SOGo is a modern and functional new web interface that allows you to access, manage, and organize your email account. This tool complements the current Roundcube webmail, offering additional features such as an integrated calendar, tasks, and address book.
Below is a summary of the main SOGo sections and how to use them:
To access SOGo, go to your email access URL (e.g., sogo.yourdomain.com) and enter your email address and password. Once inside, you'll see the main dashboard divided into sections: mail, calendar, contacts, and tasks.
Upon logging in, you’ll be taken directly to the inbox. From the side menu, you can also access the Sent, Drafts, Trash, or Spam folders. If you don’t have any emails yet, you’ll see a message indicating there are no messages.
To create a new email, click the green button with the pencil icon (bottom right) and select "Compose a new message."
A new window will open where you can write your message, add attachments, and use formatting options:
2.- Managing the calendar
SOGo includes an integrated calendar where you can add personal events linked to this email account. Click on the calendar icon at the top to access it:
From there, you can create, edit, and view events.
To add a new one, click the + button and select "Create a new event" or "Create a new task."
3.- Managing contacts
Click on the contacts icon (Address Book) at the top to view your personal address book.
Here you can view your saved contacts, create new ones, and organize them into groups.
Click the + button to add a new contact.
4.- SOGo configuration options
You can personalize your experience in SOGo from the settings menu by clicking the gear icon next to your email address.
From here, you can change the language, time zone, date or time format, and configure other general display settings.
5.- Required configuration if the domain uses external DNS
If your domain uses non-cdmon DNS servers, you need to create some records manually so that you can access the SOGo web application correctly.
