Requirements for transferring a generic domain (gTLD)

Before requesting a transfer of a .TLD domain (.com, .net, .org, .info, .cat, .mobi), you must keep in mind that the domain must meet the following conditions:

You must have access to the email account of the administrative contact. (Domain operations: Modify contact details).
You must obtain the AUTH CODE before requesting the transfer.
The domain must be unlocked. (How to know if a domain is locked).
The domain will not be transferable if it is expired or if it has fewer than 6 days left before expiration. (How to know if a domain is expired).
At least 60 days must have passed since the domain was created.
At least 60 days must have passed since the last domain transfer.
If the domain was renewed after expiration, 45 days must have passed since the renewal. (What happens if I renew the domain after it has expired and then transfer it).
