Basic characteristics of domains
Your domain is your identity on the Internet. With one or more domains and an active hosting and email service, you can be visited by any user at any time of the day.
Domains consist of a name and an extension. They are separated by a dot. Thus, in cdmon.com, cdmon is the name and com is the extension.
The name is also called SLD and the extension, TLD. Depending on the type of information your site contains, you can choose one extension or another:
